To My dearest friend, I wanted to let you know how I feel. You were one of my best friends growing up. Your family was like my family and my family like yours. I was so thankful to have a friend being the only black student at the school. You never made me feel different and always made me feel normal. We were close from the second grade until the end of high school. I moved to Atlanta and you stayed in Michigan. We would talk on the phone and stay in contact on social media. All of that changed when you voted for Donald Trump. I felt like it was a slap in the face. How could you vote for such a hateful man who does not care about other humans? I'm scared to ask you. I do not wont to hear that my dear childhood friend has changed so much. I do not know where we go from here. I hope we can fix this and you can tell me what you're thinking. I would like to think that you made a mistake, but from your post on social media, you know who Trump really is. It makes me wonder who you really are now. I will always be thankful for the friendship that we shared in the past. I will not be your friend while you support Trump. I think that he is the worst president in the history of the U.S.A. I still wish good luck to you and your family. Your Friend
