To One of My Best Friends- How long has it been since we talked? I hope you are doing okay (and your son too!) Don’t worry, I don’t feel bad that we aren’t in touch all the time or anything - I understand that you’re really busy and, I don’t know when you let conversation with someone go a long time it can feel awkward saying anything (I know that I definitely feel that way at times). Anyway, I wanted to say that even if we don’t talk, I think about you regularly and anytime you want to drop in (so to speak) and say ‘hi’ I’d be happy to see you. I’ll never forget what a fun time I had when I came to visit you and all the messages we exchanged drawing and writing and cooking up ideas for our various creative pursuits. You’re a really nice and talented person. I hope that you overcome the various difficulties that life has thrown at you to find a secure lifestyle (career) that you really like, whatever it is (whether you’re still interested in becoming a doctor - a lot of work, but I know you could do it - or you want to be something with a shorter / faster education/training curve) :) If you ever feel like re-visiting any of our old online haunts, a variety of our friends/acquaintances from those days are still around and I know for a fact that a couple of them would LOVE to hear from you again (and it’s not like any of them would rather not, I’m sure, hahah). I don’t know who (if anyone?) you’ve kept in touch with independently but, unlike me (has) a few of our mutual acquaintances have even had some pretty interesting developments in their lives.
