Dear Love of My Life, Can you believe that we've been together for almost ten years? It feels like yesterday when we met in the instant message chat room. At first, I thought you were a big jerk for making fun of my friends, yet I'm glad I decided to give you a chance. You turned out to be the sweetest and most lovely person I've ever met. Starting out in a long-distance relationship was hard. Moving halfway across the county to be with you was even harder. But I'm glad I took the risk. Ten years! We've been together for ten years! I can' believe it. We've been together longer than some married couples. I know marriage isn't good for us right now. Our credit is really bad and we can't afford to do things. Financial problems have always kept us from celebrating our anniversary. When you think about it, starting dating in the summer was good because there's plenty to do, and yet lack o funds keeps getting I not way. I'm not going to lie. I'm pretty bummed that we've been skipping our anniversary celebrations. When I look at other couples, sometimes I just feel "I wish we could be like them" but mostly it's ok.
