Dear Woman v who judged me, noticed I know this may be awkward since I am a white male and you are a Middle-Eastern Woman, but I am still human and felt the effects of the judgment you had against me that day in the park. I was by myself painting a picture of the trees and buildings when you came around the corner and was surprised to see me, you let out a gasp and then your eyes scanned me. I saw the disapproval in your eyes when you saw my tattoos. Your lips curled upwards to show your disgust. You asked me if I needed help, I was simply enjoying the beautiful scenery. You kept staring at me and I could see the look of disgust. I know I may look a little different than the people you are used to in your country, but you made me feel sub-human. You quickly opened a door and walked through it, and then hurriedly shut it and locked it loudly to make sure you were safe from me. A white male who was doing a watercolor painting. I know I have White Privilege in this country. But I also have feelings. And I know discrimination when I see it. I am a man of God and love to cultivate peace. I may be rough on the outside, but I have a heart of gold. I love you and sorry for scaring you. Love, D
