Dear A.L., It’s been nine years since my freshman year of college, and there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you. Did you ever like me, as more than a friend? Because, if I’m not mistaken #1- you used to mess with your hair, #2- you get nervous around me #3- you’d put your arm around me, #4- during my senior year of college we bumped into each other and you said, “wow you look great and you smell really good. Are you wearing perfume?” Then you very bluntly asked me to hook up, to which I said “you should ask me out,” to which you said first dates were not your thing, and to which I said hookups or not my thing. So after nine years have passed we’re now getting coffee. So I guess my question to you is are you single? Because you still make me nervous and excited and I think if you ask me out I’ll say yes.
