Dear Cherished Friend, It has been a fortnight since we talked and I'm hoping that all is well with you and your family. I am doing well but I must say that it has not been really well due to the current norm around the world. I have therefore decided to write you this letter to let you know of the several struggles and experiences I have had with or due to the pandemic. First I want to let you know that it has been really tough for me and my family to cope with every day. I lost two of my jobs, I had indicated to you that I had three, am therefore remaining with only one. This has ultimately affected my financial capability to the extent of being frustrated in meeting for paying my bills let alone living a fulfilled life. Apart from the struggles of meeting my financial demands, I have had to struggle with feelings of fear and feeling blue at all times. I feel isolated from the rest of the world, you now, meeting friends or going to a social gathering is no longer allowed. I fear being infected and or not being able to acquire proper medical are if I contracted the virus. I consulted with an online doctor and was diagnosed with depression. I have found it hard to talk to my family, especially my dad about it. I understand they also got problems of their own. All this has made it really difficult to cope with the new norm and problems keeping piling up on me. I would be happy if you made a point to help. We can connect online. Regards, Your Friend.
