Hi Friend, I'm writing to you because I have to been struggling with a secret I haven't been able to tell anyone about. It seems almost stupid really. I started classes this week, right? Well, I barely graduated from college. I struggled so much in my undergrad classes, I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I stopped caring. I was on academic probation twice. I failed, a handful of classes. When I decided I wanted to back to school, I applied as a "special student." I am in a non-degree seeking program. I am technically on probation because they had to take a risk admitting me to the university. That is why doing well means so much to me. That is why I've been working my butt off. I have so much to prove and so far to go before I can even apply for my graduate program. I am ashamed, but I am working hard to turn things around now. Love, J
