Dear lovely lady whose heart is broke, I am sorry that I broke your heart. I'm sorry that I put you through that pain and I'm sorry that I betrayed you, your trust, and our vows. That was the biggest mistake in my life and I regret it each and every day and I will for as long as I live. I did the unthinkable and tore our marriage to pieces all because I thought the grass could be greener on the other side. She does not even come close to the woman that you are. She is not the one I vowed to in front of God, she's not the one who birthed my children, and she's not the one I love. I cannot come up with any excuses or reasoning as to why I did it other than I was selfish. While I am gone on duty, you are the one that holds our family together. You were the one who takes care of the kids alone, without the help of me or anyone else. You're the one who waits for me day to day, deployment to deployment. You have been a faithful wife through everything, even the rough times. I cannot take back what I did but I promise to do all that I can to make you happy and help you through this rough time. Please know that I love you very much and I am so sorry that I hurt you. I hate to see you cry and I hate that you are distant lately. I understand though because I did this to you. Thank you for still loving me and giving me a second chance. I will forever be thankful. Love always, Yours
